How Often Do You Need to Complete a Spokane Workout?

You’ve probably learned from your own weight loss experiences that this pursuit isn’t something you can only think about every now and then. Instead, you need to consistently make good decisions that will help your weight loss. While working towards your weight loss goal needs to be a priority, that doesn’t mean it has to consume your entire life.

One of the reasons that very few people achieve long-term success by dieting is because this approach to weight loss puts a constant burden on your shoulders. Since this burden has to balanced with all of life’s other responsibilities, most people hit a point where they simply fall off track. This same pattern is almost always repeated when someone tries to work out on a daily basis. Although they have good intentions and are truly committed to losing weight, this specific approach ends up backfiring.

A Workout Routine That’s Sustainable

Instead of deciding to suddenly go from not working out at all to doing it on a daily basis, your weight loss will be much more successful if you take a moderate approach. Your goal should be to work out three times a week. During weeks when your schedule is especially busy, don’t allow yourself to completely fall off track and not work out at all. Instead, simply adjust your routine for that week.

How to Make the Most of Your Workouts

While you like the fact that three workouts a week is a manageable amount to complete, you’re probably concerned that this isn’t going to be enough to help you lose a significant amount of weight. Although that would be true if you didn’t get much out of your workouts, you will consistently shed the pounds you want to lose as long as you make the most of every workout.

The key to not wasting a workout is to keep your intensity at a peak. If you start to slow down during your workout, you’re not going to end up getting as much out of it. Additionally, because you won’t fully push yourself, this will result in it taking longer for you to progress during future workouts.

If you discover that it’s hard to fully push yourself when you’re working out by yourself, you’re not alone in this feeling. One of the reasons our boot camp is led by an instructor and done in a group setting is because both of those factors make it easier to maintain a peak intensity during a Spokane workout.

Don’t Forget About Resistance Exercises

It’s easy to only focus on cardio during the course of a Spokane workout. While cardio is important for burning calories, resistance exercises will also play a big role in reaching your weight loss goal. Not only will these exercises benefit your body in several ways, but they will also make you mentally stronger. Seeing yourself get stronger will reinforce your belief in your own ability to accomplish your weight loss goal.

    The last line really resonates with me. My body has hard time losing weight, but I love feeling stronger! I have only been working out consistently for 3 weeks now, but already feel stronger and am using higher weights during sessions. It is the only thing some days that is encouraging when the scale isn’t budging.
